Andy Brown : Andy Brown can't pretend to have been modelling quite as long as some of the other club members but can lay claim to more than a decade of 'serious modelling'. Originally a devoted 1/48th jet aircraft builder, the club's propeller evangelists eventually convinced him to start building 1/48th WWII aircraft and he has built little else since 1996, although a return to jets is imminent. Andy mounts and cases all his models so that they can be safely and decoratively displayed at home.

Andy Burton : Andy has been modeling since the early eighties but only seriously for the last 7 years or so. Most of his work consists of 1/35th WW2 AFV's, often German, some dioramas including figures and Warhammer 40,000 sci/fi stuff. He claims that joining a club has improved his modeling more than anything else in the last couple of years.

Ian Crawford : Ian has been building plastic models 'since Pontius was a pilot', and makes mainly aircraft, usually WWII subjects, often single-engined fighters and particularly Spitfires!  Age and deteriorating eyesight mean that he now works almost exclusively in 1/48th scale.  He has served on the National Committee of IPMS/UK, and is Leader of the IPMS/UK Spitfire Special Interest Group.  Did we mention he likes Spitfires?

Steve Hesse : Steve has been modelling since before Pontius was in the ATC, and has ranged from cars to Sci-Fi via ships and aircraft.  He has now stabilized on WWII fighters, but has a distressing tendency towards 'spoofs'.  He has also resolutely refused to propel his paint by compressed air and relies on application via a variety of hairy sticks.
